Technical Parameters and Regional Requirements
European projects refer to a well-known set of standards. Your consultant and your national authority set the final requirements. The table lists the references we most often meet.
| Topic | Typical reference | What it means for the supplier |
|---|---|---|
| GMP | EU GMP, EudraLex Volume 4, including Annex 1 on sterile products (revised 2022) | Grades A to D, contamination control strategy, documents |
| Cleanroom classes | ISO 14644 series | Particle classes and test methods |
| Fire | EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire) and EN 13501-2 (fire resistance) | Euroclass and EI ratings from test reports |
| Sandwich panels | EN 14509 covers self-supporting insulating panels with metal faces | CE marking and declaration of performance may apply, depending on use |
| Electrical equipment | Low Voltage and EMC directives, and machinery rules | CE marking, wiring diagrams, technical file |
| Chemicals and materials | REACH and low-emission requirements for some materials | Material declarations on request |
| Language | National languages for manuals and labels | Translations can be discussed |
| Sustainability | Carbon footprint and environmental declarations are increasingly requested | We state what data exists |
Design points often raised by European buyers:
- Documentation: complete files for qualification, with traceability to batch.
- Fire: non-combustible cores and tested doors for escape routes.
- Energy: tight envelopes and insulation to meet efficiency targets.
- Installation: clear drawings and manuals suitable for experienced local crews.
Typical EU expectations for documents: a drawing set, a bill of materials with material identification, factory inspection records, wiring diagrams for electrical items and any test reports. We prepare these in an organized file, so your consultant can review quickly.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
Cross-Border Delivery and Localized Construction Support
Goods for Europe travel by sea to ports such as Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Piraeus, Genoa and Barcelona, or by rail to inland terminals. Routes and transit times change with conditions, so we plan the schedule with you and update it.
- Trade terms: FOB, CFR, CIF or other terms agreed in the quotation.
- Documents: packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin, with technical documents prepared for the importer.
- Customs: the importer of record handles registration, VAT and duties. Some steel and aluminum products may also fall under the EU carbon border mechanism, and your importer confirms any obligations.
- Conformity: CE-related documents are discussed per product, and your importer or consultant confirms what applies.
- Packing: flat-pack loading with moisture protection, and labels by position.
Local installation: European buyers usually have experienced contractors who install with our drawings and manual, with remote support if needed. Local building codes, fire rules, working-at-height and safety regulations apply, and your contractor remains responsible for them and for approvals.
We are open about our role: we manufacture and supply, and we do not act as the EU importer or manufacturer of record unless a separate agreement says so.
For European projects, we suggest a short planning call between your project manager, the installer, your importer and our engineer. Agreeing drawing format, delivery dates, customs documents and installation sequence on one plan prevents most delays. Staged shipments can be arranged to match your site.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
Quality Control and Certification
European customers expect traceable, well-documented products. We manufacture the main components, inspect them at the factory and keep batch records, and we give an honest account of which certificates and reports exist.
| Control step | Inspection | Value for the project |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming materials | Sheet, face, core, profiles, gaskets, glass | Known quality |
| Panel production | Dimensions, flatness, bonding, edge sealing | Tight, flush joints |
| Core verification | Core type and density against the order | Right fire and thermal behavior |
| Door and equipment | Gasket contact, interlock and function tests, wiring diagrams | Reliable, documented operation |
| Packing check | Count, labels, moisture protection | Complete delivery |
| Records | Batch records kept for each order | Traceability |
Documents available: drawings, material specifications, factory inspection records, filter data, wiring diagrams and, where available, fire, thermal or surface test reports.
If your project requires CE marking, a declaration of performance, EN test reports or environmental data, please tell us at the start. We will confirm what exists, what would need new testing and who must hold the declaration. We welcome audits of our factory by European customers or their inspectors.
European consultants and quality teams often ask for supplier questionnaires, product data and sample parts. We complete questionnaires openly, supply samples of panels, joints and gaskets for your own tests and welcome audits. Batch records are kept for each project, so later questions can be traced to production.
We recommend agreeing the document list and the test standards at the start of the project.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
After-Sales Service and Response Capability
European customers expect prompt, clear communication. We answer technical messages during the European working day, and we keep drawings, bills of materials and batch records for each project.
- Fast communication: technical questions answered in English by email, phone or messaging.
- Remote diagnosis: photos, videos and test data help us suggest causes.
- Spare parts: gaskets, hinges, windows, panels and filters, shipped by sea or by air for urgent needs.
- Document retrieval: records and certificates can be re-sent for audits.
- Engineer visits: by arrangement.
Typical requests from European customers:
| Request | Our response |
|---|---|
| Audit document request | Provide records, drawings and available reports |
| Spare parts for an old project | Identify from records and ship matching items |
| Fit problem on site | Review drawings and photos, advise on adjustment or replacement |
| Expansion | Prepare updated drawings and an itemized proposal |
We suggest that European importers keep a small stock of spare gaskets and sealant, since shipping from Asia takes weeks.
For European customers, we suggest agreeing at handover how spare parts will be ordered, and keeping a small stock of consumable parts on site. When a problem arises, send us photos, the room name and a short description. Our engineers will compare them with the project drawings and records and reply with a likely cause and a solution.
Replacement parts are made to the original specification. For urgent cases, we discuss the fastest shipping option and prepare documents in advance.
Our engineers can also join a video call with your maintenance team.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
Commercial Terms, Warranty and Lifecycle Cost
European buyers compare total cost carefully, including logistics, duties, compliance work and energy. We give itemized quotations with clear scope and exclusions, so you can compare us with European suppliers on equal ground.
| Item | Our approach |
|---|---|
| Quotation | Itemized by room and component, with scope, exclusions and packing listed |
| Trade terms | FOB, CFR, CIF or other terms, defined in the quotation |
| Payment | Commonly a deposit with balance before shipment or against documents; final terms in the contract |
| Warranty | Defined by component group in the contract, in line with applicable law |
| Lead time | Production time plus transit; stated in the quotation |
| Documents | Technical documents prepared for the importer and consultant |
Where cost is decided for European projects:
- Conformity work: any new testing, marking or declarations add cost and time.
- Logistics: sea freight, port charges, inland transport and rail options vary with conditions.
- Duties and taxes: depend on classification and origin, and the importer confirms them.
- Energy: a tight, insulated envelope lowers running cost.
Duties, VAT, customs fees, inland transport, conformity testing, permits and installation labor are not part of the product price unless included in the quotation. Warranty exclusions are stated clearly in the contract.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
We are glad to explain every line of our quotation and to prepare alternative options if you need to adjust the budget.
We are glad to review your floor plan, and our engineers will give honest feedback on what we can and cannot do for your project.
Real Factory Strength for European Buyers
European buyers want to know who makes the product and how. Pharma United Co., Ltd., founded in 2006, runs two factories in Kunshan and Qianjiang covering 20,000 m², with more than 60 staff, and ships over 1,000 forty-foot high-cube containers a year. We are a manufacturer, not a trading company.
| Indicator | Information |
|---|---|
| Experience | 20+ years in cleanroom engineering |
| HPL cleanroom panels | About 250,000 m² per year; China's largest HPL cleanroom panel manufacturer |
| Container shipments | More than 1,000 forty-foot high-cube containers per year |
| Location | Kunshan, about 30 km from Shanghai |
| Product range | Panels, doors and windows, equipment, modular PODs, HEPA products |
| Service | Design, manufacture and installation support |
Why this helps European buyers: as a large HPL cleanroom panel producer, we keep faces, cores and edges under our own control, and we offer OEM and ODM manufacture to European specifications. Because panels, doors, windows and equipment come from one factory, interfaces match and sourcing is simpler.
Buyers and their inspectors can visit the factory, join a live video tour, review production records and see sample panels.
Our designers prepare layouts and detail drawings, our engineers review sealing and interface details, and our production teams run dedicated lines for panels, doors, windows and equipment. Export coordinators prepare packing and documents for shipments to many countries.
Customers return for new rooms and spare parts, and we can share photos and videos of completed rooms on request. Visitors are welcome at our factory by arrangement.
Our staff reply promptly and in plain language, and our designers can adapt standard layouts to your building and your process.
